Appendix F Project Poster Presentation Rubric
Students will develop a poster to accompany their professional presentation according to the following rubric. Campus resources are available for consult regarding poster presentations. Discuss individual needs with course faculty for more information.
Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is for the student to disseminate the final DNP project to the project committee and to communities of interest.
Course Learning Outcome(s): Through this assessment, the student will meet the following course learning outcome(s):
CLO 4: Create a professional quality poster of the scholarly project and orally present the project. (Program Outcome 2)

Format
Horizontal (landscape)
Title should be the same as the title of the project and appear in bold face at the top.
Facts should be printed in single words or phrases.
Define unfamiliar or complex terms as simply as possible.
Use pictorial or graphic illustrations to clarify and enhance a message
Use a typeface that is legible from six feet away.
Use a minimal amount of punctuation.
Viewers should be able to grasp the total message within five minutes.
Content
Specifics related to EBP problem/issue, framework, literature review, results, and recommendations are presented in logical, succinct format
The poster is a graphic presentation of the project. Authors illustrate their project by displaying graphs, photos, diagrams, and a small amount of text.
References are provided on a separate, printed page.

Use of the university logo must conform to the University’s requirements, i.e. specific logo and color
Visually appealing, attracts attention
Emphasizes major/important points
Easily legible
Appropriate amount of text – free of errors
