In this lab, you complete the following tasks on the yournameAD server:

1. Enable the Administrative Templates central store by creating a Starter GPOs folder.
   1. Create a starter GPO named DNS Settings.
   2. Configure the DNS Settings policies:

1. Create a new GPO named CommonGPO using the new starter GPO you created. Do not link the GPO at this time.
2. Verify that the starter GPO settings were applied to the CommonGPO.
3. Edit the default domain policy and configure settings in the following path:
   Computer ConfigurationPoliciesWindows SettingsSecurity SettingsAccount Policies
   1. Set the following account policy settings:

1. In the audit policy of the GPO, enable the Audit logon events policy.
2. In the Audit logon events policy, enable both Success and Failure.
3. In Security Options, enable the Audit: Shut down system immediately if unable to log security audits policy, which causes the computer to shut down if it cannot log audit entries.
4. In Event Log, enable the Retention method for security log policy and configure it to Do not overwrite events (clear log manually).
