The collector is 1 meter wide (into the page) and 2.5 m long (in the air flow direction) and oriented horizontally. In both designs, the gaps are 20 mm wide. Air at 25◦C, 100 kPa enters the flow passage at a flow rate of 30 liters/sec per square meter of collector area (area exposed to solar radiation) in both cases.
