PHL 2350 UNIT VII DISCUSSION
Given the Islamic vision of the ideal human community, how much room for dialogue is there between the Muslim world and western civilization?
I HAVE TO RESPOND TO A CLASSMENT AND THIS IS WHAT THEY WROTE:
In my opinion there is a lot of room for dialogue between the two communities. It is hard to get dialogue started because of the media always playing the two communities against each other. The Islam and Western community dialogue unites forum members and partners working together to promote dialogue and understanding between two communities. The dialogue between the two communites could be a resource for government leaders, business, faith, education and even media.

HY 1120 UNIT VII DISCUSSION BOARD
In your opinion, what do you feel is the most significant lesson that should be taken from the Vietnam conflict? Why do you feel this way?
I HAVE TO RESPOND TO A CLASSMATE AND THIS IS WHAT THEY WROTE:
I feel the significant aspect was the fact we were in a cold war. The U.S. had dodged the bullet with the Cuban missile crisis. With a knee jerk reaction and fear of Russian and Chinese dealings with Vietnam. The U.S. inserted our armed forces into the conflict that was brewing in Vietnam to avoid the potential impact on the U.S. I think the lesson is you can’t add yourself within a battle based on fear. The damage that occurs decimated their country, but at the same time, it tore our’s apart, leaving us divided at a time when we had many problems. Leaving people asking was it worth it and still did nothing to stop the fear of the cold war.
HY 1120 UNIT VII POWERPOINT
This course has introduced and assessed many noteworthy figures related to the continuing evolution of the United States and its place within the world during the last 170 years. For this assignment, you will develop a PowerPoint presentation based on your Unit V Outline. The presentation should be appropriate for an audience; in other words, it needs to be thoughtfully organized, visually attractive, and clear in the message you are trying to convey.
In the Unit V Outline, you chose an influential public figure working in America from the mid-19th century to the present. Your selection did not have to be an American citizen, but you were not to choose a U.S. president.
This presentation is not meant to be a biography. You should focus on communicating the figure’s relevance in today’s modern era and highlight how society remembers him or her now.
The presentation must be a minimum of 10 slides and should address the concepts listed below.
Content
Introduce how your figure impacted a civil rights movement (including, but not limited to, creed, race, age, status, or gender). Note: His or her impact may not necessarily be a positive one.
Identify how this figure is viewed on the national and/or world stage.
Discuss how this figure may have influenced challenges and/or opportunities for the United States as a global power (i.e., their international impact).
Provide a perspective on if this figure’s impact would have been seen as progressive.
Organization
The organization of the presentation should be based on the Unit V Outline. Make sure that you utilize any feedback given on your outline.
Ideas should be grouped together and transition smoothly.
Make use of the notes section in each slide in order to communicate your thoughts and ideas. If you would prefer, audio voiceover can be utilized in place of slide notes.
Include a title slide (one slide), content slides (eight slides), and a reference slide (one slide).
Quality of Presentation
Creativity and effort are highly encouraged. PowerPoint provides several options for developing an exciting presentation, including options for both audio and video components; however, customizing the method of delivery for the presentation is up to you.
Use images, graphics, smart art, and backgrounds that enhance your presentation and make it look professional, clean, and visually attractive.

All sources used must be properly cited according to APA format. All in-text citations must have matching references listed on the references slide.

HY 1120 UNIT VIII ESSAY
Trace the evolution of your profession (or another chosen profession), field of study, or branch of service, starting in the Cold War era and continuing all the way to the present, globalized world. Discuss what you consider to be modern challenges that you face that your predecessors did not.
As you gather research, make sure to consider important social, political, and economic movements, such as the types of military, economic, and civil rights struggles that have been discussed in this course, and how that may have impacted the daily life of the profession you chose to write on.
Your final product should be one to two pages in length. You are required to use a minimum of two reputable sources, which must be cited and referenced using APA format. You are encouraged to use the CSU Online Library, but you are not required to do so. Refer to the tutorials mentioned in the previous assignments to help you decipher appropriate material to use in your research.
