  • This means you will have to research the organization and fully understand what it is trying to achieve.
  • You need to agree your social enterprise and outline what you believe it is trying to achieve.
• So, what does this assessment mean for your social enterprise?
  • Think about preparing a speech/presentation to get in more volunteers, get people to sponsor/donate to the organization, or for school children to get involved.
  • The list is endless depending on your chosen organization and what you are trying to achieve.
• Require to do:
  • 5-min speech – about 600-700 words
    • Designed to persuade a group of people to do something.
    • You should identify your audience and construct the speech so that it appeals to them, and it likely to persuade them.
    • You will be marked on the structure of the speech; the use of persuasive triggers; how well the speech is tailored to the audience and clarity of the speech.
    • Write in short sentences.

  • Commentary – 500 words
    • To support your speech, at the end add a reflective commentary, showing why you wrote your speech as you did.
  • 1 News release – about 500-600words
  • A blog post – about 500-600words
